Being one of those bisexuals obsessed with Greek mythology, I looked there for inspiration when I started performing. I was also attracted to a name that began with Z, but Zephyrus (the Greek god of the west winds) felt like a mouthful and I wanted to do more than just use the word “Zephyr,” so I landed on a unique spelling and the rest is draglesque history.
